The Planet Bag is a heavyweight 100% cotton shopping bag designed to be used instead of plastic or paper bags at the grocery store checkout.

-Natural 100% Cotton Canvas, no environmentally harmful dyes or bleaches.
-The Planet Bag is made of 100% Natural Cotton, not Synthetic Polypropylene (plastic) cloth or Nylon. Synthetic fabrics are made from oil and do not biodegrade. Why replace plastic with more plastic? Use only real 100% cotton bags instead. Both organic and inorganic cotton are biodegradable.

The Planet Bag can be spot cleaned, or washed in the machine on delicate cycle, cold water. Hang to Dry. As it is 100% cotton, some shrinking will occur (10-15%), but The Planet Bag will stretch back out upon future use.

I love this bag!! It is big and easy to use; the handles are sturdy and the bag holds two weeks full of groceries with no problems (sometimes more). I have told multiple friends and they love the planet bag too. Unlike the public's bag's I can wash the planet bag with no worries that it will ruin my washer or dryer. I recommend the planet bag for all ages.
The planet bag does not just have to be used for groceries, my sister uses it for her school books.

I have had these bags for 3 weeks and have no complaints so far. They are much bigger than other canvas bags I have seen sold in local grocery stores. My husband and I shop weekly for groceries for us two and have never used more than 4 bags; we usually get by with just using 3. Good buy and good for the environment!

We have found the grocery bags to have many advantages over the paper bag. They are sturdier and the handles don't break. They also provide some insulation for the frozen products. These bags are large enough that they hold more than a paper grocery bag.
