Reusable Grocery Tote Bag 5 Pack Combo

Made in China, how is that "green"? (2008-08-15) Rating: 1/5
I contacted the manufacturer of these bags and found out that they are made in China, one of the worst polluters on the planet, not to mention one of the worst abusers of human rights. How is that "green"? Sure, you'll not be needing any of those flimsy, reusable, multi-use plastic bags they give out at the grocery store, but what are you supporting?

How about some "U.S. economy-friendly" products, Amazon? They would help our world, and our country, more than any unethically subsidized ChiCom product. The United States is one of the world's largest developers of green technology, so any help we can give to our economy can help our entire world. Buy more "Made in the USA" to save the planet.

A friend of mine recommended these bags to me and I'm so happy she did! The are fantastic. They are very sturdy. They have plenty of room. They have plastic inserts to make the bottom sturdier. I can normally get all of my groceries in these 5 bags. I also like that they are plain colors and do not have advertisements on them. I am always getting comments on them when I go to the store asking me where I got them!

These bags are better than cloth, plastic and paper bags. They are easy to load and hold more products and are easy to carry when full. They fold well when not in use and are easy to carry into the store. An excellent buy.

These bags are very nice. I was looking for something like nylon since cotton tote bags are usually too heavy. These are made of a nice lightweight material and easy to carry. The size is big enough to carry dinner but not so big that they are clumsy. Your eggs can easily fit in the bottom of the bag and lie flat. I found it easy to grab a stack and cart them to the grocery store. I chose to get all of one color. (green) The multi colored packs looked a little too chaotic. The down side is the flimsy cardboard insert. After packing away your groceries you must get used to spending a few moments adjusting the inserts and refolding the bags. The inserts are also not going to last very long. In a year I will have to either cut new ones of buy them from someplace. I bought 10 bags and they sent me a free insulated tote bag which is worth what I paid for it.

I've been using reusable bags for years and have quite the collection...but I bought this 5 pack for a gift and really like them! Strong, roomy--and you can't beat the price!
