I've had my bose for 4 months and I'm very happy with them. As a studio musician and performer I'm pretty fussy about sound reproduction. If my wife knew how many earphones and headphones I have purchased she probably would think the money would have been better spent on a second home. Earphones are like cars or shoes, etc. they make a lot of different styles for diffenent needs. The bose are a great balance a smooth rich sound with just enough low end. They sound very much like the over the ear phones without the bulk. They don't go in the ear canal so they may tend to fall out with a lot of movement but they are very comfortable and there is far less chance of the hearing loss.

the sound quality is so pure, you can hear EVERYTHING,
i'm listening to hip hop right now and the bass is superb.
its very well balanced, the bass comes through crisp and definitely not overpowering. really though, just get them if you're in the market for good in ear head phones, try Ebay, maybe you'll get them for $25 like me =]

What makes this a good product: Sound quality is good. What detracts from that is the ease of the ear buds becoming lose and falling out. For a price of around 100 dollars I expected more. Not for anyone active.

These headphones sounded fantastic. The bass was great and not too much and the treble was great too. On my IPOD, I set the EQ on treble booster which sounds best. I highly recommend these headphones. Make sure the cord is black and white and NOT all black.
