I have been looking for this purse since last year when I saw it in People Mag. I tried to get it from Anya Hindmarch and then when it was released to select Whole Foods locations, with no success. I was so happy when I finally thought to look on Amazon.com and found it! I love my purse soooooo much! I wear it all the time!

Great bag with a very serious message. Plastic bags are hurting our environment and the lives within it. Runoff from rain over the dumps ends up polluting water as well as the soil. Plastic bags take 1,000 years to break down. Some cities have even banned plastic bags entirely due to the destructive nature. This bag is a pretty good size to take with you shopping. I have reusable bags for the grocery store that I got here on amazon if you are interested they come in a pack of 4. But when I go to Target or somewhere else I bring this bag with me and I feel good knowing that I as an individual am doing my part to avoid plastic bags. Please don't wait for your city to ban plastic bags! Start now and save our planet and the lives who live on it. If you stopped using plastic bags and you shop weekly and count your plastic bags up you probably have about 9-15 bags, thats 5280 bags a year YOU throw in the dump. Now if you take that figure and you times that by how many people just live on your street then in your neighborhood then in your city, imagine how much plastic we are putting in the landfills. Where does it go? Nowhere, it stays there for 1,000 years all the while killing birds and other wildlife and polluting our water. Think about everything you throw away in the trash is it biodegradable? Well if it isn't perhaps consider your purchase and see if you can get something close to it that IS. There are no fairies that wave a wand and make the trash magically disappear. So buy this bag and let others know you are doing your part and send the message to others of what we all should be doing. Small actions x lots of people = BIG CHANGE.
